Schaper U-Drive-It Table Top Action Set. Vintage 1974 Schaper U-Drive-It Table Top Action Set Driving Game #801. At 24" x 16" x 6 and 6lbs, this item is NOT RETURNABLE, so please read the description carefully! In this playset you place a little plastic car on the scenic road, and turn the ignition key which activates the game. Car will travel in a circular or modified pattern depending on how you steer.

You control the speed with the foot operated pedal. The cardboard roadway flips over for your choice of sports rally theme or country road scene with gas station, launderette, market, etc. Runs on 2 size "D" batteries, not included.

Includes a'speed pad' to keep the chain and friction points running freely. CONDITION : Missing 4 Cones, the'key', and the 2nd car.

It is otherwise complete with Game board,'gas' pedal (including original spring), bridge, battery box cover, speed pad, instructions, and registration card. Battery box is in great shape with no corrosion or snapped connectors. Steering wheel turns nicely with good action on the spring.

Box is in very good shape, but has some issues: Color is still vivid, minimal discoloration, but has some wrinkles and small corner tears. I put in the 2x'D' batteries it requires, but it would not turn on. I do not know if it is because the key is missing or if there is some other issue.
