Top Quality Vintage Staunton Boxwood Chess Set + Box 1900

  

This is a great VINTAGE STAUNTON PATTERN CHESS SET In my estimation it dates from around the early 20th Century, circa 1900s, but please make up your own mind about this. The kings each measure approx 2 3/4 inches (70mm) tall, all the pieces have felted bases, and the set is made from hardwood (I believe it is boxwood).

The set is complete with its original mahogany box. This is a fine example of its type, and it would make a great addition to any collection. Please see the photos for condition and type.
