F H Ayres boxed set of antique treen boxwood spinning tops A Present for Boys

  

A boxed set of antique late c19th or early c20th English boxwood spinning tops, made by F. A humming top, peg top, whip top, & bandalore (yo-yo). The whip and peg tops have an ebony and mother of pearl inset in the top. The tops are in good condition with minor signs of age, contained in the original box, labelled "A Present for Boys". The box is in good presentable condition with wear and signs of age - please see all 8 photos.
